Maine State Credit Union Annual Feed Me 5k To End Hunger in Maine

According to the Maine State Credit Union website, it's almost time for their annual Feed Me 5k To End Hunger In Maine. Over the past several years, this amazing event has helped raised over $800,000 for local organizations.

Due to social distancing and the CDC's recommended guidelines, this year's Feed Me 5k will be held virtually. Another change to this year's event is that you can choose the distance you'd like, anywhere from a 5k to a full marathon, and everything in between.

This is such a neat event for many reasons, including choosing the day that works best for you. Feed Me 5k gets kicked off on Saturday, April 24, 2021, and you'll have until May 31, 2021, to finish. There is a $25 registration fee and it includes a commemorative t-shirt, which you can get by REGISTERING HERE.

The best part is that you get to enjoy a nice walk or run, and 100% of the proceeds will go to local food banks and pantries. This includes but is not limited to nonperishable items but backpack programs and meals on wheels.
