Maine State Troopers Are Stepping Up Patrols For the 4th of July Weekend
State Police are stepping up patrols over the 4th of July weekend.
Troopers in marked and unmarked vehicles will be looking for people texting and driving, not wearing seatbelts, impaired drivers and those people driving aggressively.
The funds for the added enforcement comes from the Feds through the Bureau of Highway Safety in the amount of $643,000.
