If you recently purchased ground beef from the Hannaford Supermarket in Skowhegan, you're probably going to want to return it to the store.  There is a slim chance that it could contain styrofoam fragments.

According to a Facebook post by WABI TV, Hannaford in Skowhegan has issued  a recall of any 85% ground beef that was purchased at the store yesterday, August 11th from 1 PM to 6:30 PM.

The statement said, in part:

"In an abundance of caution, the Hannaford store in Skowhegan is recalling 85% ground beef that was purchased at the store yesterday, Tuesday, August 11 between 1:00p.m. and 6:30p.m. with a sell by date/use by date of August 14, 2020 because the item may contain Styrofoam fragments. Customers should not consume the item and may return it to the store for a full refund."
The recall only applies to product bought at the store and no injuries or illnesses have been reported.
