
Man Injured in Police Shooting Near Maine Border
A man was injured Wednesday night during a police shooting in Milton, New Hampshire, near the Maine border.
According to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, the shooting happened on Elm Street after police encountered a man who was barricaded inside a vehicle. Officials said the man was armed with what appeared to be a handgun at the time.
During the interaction between officers and the man, shots were fired. The man was injured and taken to a hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released his condition.
