It's time again to March for Babies and support the March of Dimes. When you walk, you give hope to the more than half a million babies born too soon each year. The money you raise supports programs in your community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies and it funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies.

Catherine Tanous, Community Director, March of Dimes Maine Chapter and Hildy Ginsberg, State Director for March of Dimes Foundation joined us on the Moose Morning Show!

In Maine, 1 in 8 babies are born prematurely. With your help, the March of Dimes works to improve the health of babies and support families.

This year the Waterville walk has merged with the Augusta walk, which will be Sunday, May 3, starting at the Kennebec Valley YMCA. The walk begins at 9:00 a.m. with registration at 8:00 a.m.

The money you raise in 'March for Babies' funds important research and programs that help babies begin healthy lives. Every dollar you give is greatly appreciated and used wisely. Watch this video to find out where your money goes.
