Major Concert Announcement Just Released For Bangor, Maine Next Summer
Coming off of a year when we saw some really amazing artists and bands take to the stage at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, it's going to be pretty hard to top the concert season we just had.
Though it might be hard to top, Waterfront Concerts is already starting to announce shows for last year and it's already looking like the 2025 season is going to give last year's lineup a solid run for its money.
Just in the last couple of weeks we have already made big announcements for acts like Papa Roach, The Goo Goo Dolls and others. And as we head into the middle of the current week, they just dropped another bomb of awesomeness upon us.
We learned yesterday that everyone's favorite heartthrob, or at least your mom's favorite heartthrob is headed for Bangor next summer. Of course we're talking about the one and only comedian, Matt Rife.
Matt has played in Maine before and sold out a much smaller venue, so we're expecting him to absolutely pack the Maine Savings Amphitheater when he brings his 'Stay Golden' tour to the venue on Saturday, July 12th.
According to his official website,
Born in trashy backwoods Ohio, Matt was saved by his foul-mouthed but loving grandpa Steve and a passion for standup. He started hitting comedy clubs before he could even drink, cutting his teeth in front of mostly Black crowds who dared him to succeed. Matt honed a brand of razor-sharp, brutally honest standup that took no prisoners—and took him to the most famous stages of Atlanta and LA before he graduated high school. Along the way, he broke the hearts of MILFs everywhere, finally hit puberty at the ripe age of twenty-two, never met a grudge he wouldn’t keep—and never, ever backed down.
This is an 18+ show and tickets go on sale to the public on Friday the 22nd of November!
