Multi-Vehicle Crash Slows Traffic on Rt. 1 in Woolwich, Maine
Officials from the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office are responding to a multi-vehicle crash on southbound Route 1 in Woolwich Tuesday morning.
Woolwich Fire Department crews are on scene assisting. According to one firefighter, at least three vehicles were involved in the incident. Details about what caused the crash and whether anyone was injured have not yet been released.
As of 7:00 a.m., authorities had not announced any road closures, but traffic maps indicate heavy slowdowns in the area.
