New Hampshire Police Help Man Propose During a Traffic Stop [VIDEO]

Last fall, Matt Van Vliet in New London, New Hampshire, convinced the town's police chief to pull him over and pretend to arrest him in front of his girlfriend, Samantha Labo. During the arrest, while she was crying, he revealed it was just a joke and proposed. I'm not sure why pranking your girlfriend is a good idea, but she did say, "Yes!"

The actual police car footage of their proposal has just been released. See it below. Samantha said, "It went from being the most devastating thing I have had to witness, to feeling the most ecstatic I have ever felt."

By the way, there is backstory. Matt and Samantha met several years ago when they were freshmen in college. They went to a party underage and got arrested by the same cop who helped pull off the surprise proposal.
