My Open Letter To The Lewiston Dunkin Employee Who Does This

Dear Cece (Drive-Up Dunkin' Employee),

When I first drove up into the drive up from the driveway, I wasn't aware that I was going to receive this epic gift of joyous joy every single time I came back, from you. Thank you for writing on every single one of my coffee cups every single time I come. From "Have A Great Day!" to "You're smile is beautiful and I love seeing it!", to "You're gorgeous and we support you!", it's breathtaking and I don't deserve this amount of love.

Your notes help me continue to thank the universe that I am alive and that they're are wonderful humans in this world. You are one of those wonderful humans Cece and I am always here if you need a shoulder to lean on.

Now to all the rest of you, let's talk about this because who does this? Just randomly? It feels rare to meet someone who just wants to make you smile, for no reason.

Dunkin' has been a staple in my diet for quiet a while. I have pretty much lived in my car for that past 2 years. I am constantly driving, travelling to point A, B, C, D, E, F, you and your gas prices, gas stations. I digress.

Because I have chosen to make the biggest life decisions all in a short period of time, new career, buying a house, getting married and much more, I am always on the go and always in need of a pick me up.

Every time I go to 590 Main Street Dunkin' in Lewiston to get my small frozen caramel coffee (without whip cream, cuz-diet) I am astounded by what happens.

I'd like to think I am a nice person and spread buckets of happiness everywhere I go and there is this one employee, named Cece that I always chat to in drive-up. I love learning about people so, yes I am the one that is probably holding up the line because I am asking Cece how her children are.

Cece has written on every coffee that I've ever ordered since I first visited that Dunkin' location and she doesn't realize how much love she gives me each morning.

I, thank you for your simple gesture of happiness you never cease to share! Cece needs a raise simply for raising my spirits every day!
