The Outlet Challenge May be The Most Dangerous One Ever

We've all done stupid things in our lifetime, there's no denying that. But what the hell is wrong with our kids? I know, I'm generalizing and I shouldn't be. It's only a select group of kids that seem to be dumb enough to try these things.

According to WABI TV 5 this is called the 'outlet challenge', and was originally inspired by a TikTok video- that's just great. Teens are encouraged to plug their phone chargers halfway into the wall and then touch the exposed portion of the prongs with a penny, thus shorting it out.

If they're luck, the short out will be the worst thing that happens. If they're not lucky, they'll be electrocuted and burn the building down.

I hate that I even have to say this but, "talk to your teens about outlets". Ugh.
