Positive COVID-19 Case at Kennebec County DA’s Office
According to the KJ, an employee who has been working at the Kennebec County District Attorney's office in Augusta has tested positive for Coronavirus.
District Attorney, Maeghan Maloney made the announcement earlier this afternoon. She also indicated that the office has been shut down out of an abundance of caution. She said that all communications would now be conducted via phone and email.
She did, however, reference a 'skeleton crew' that will stay on to handle in-custody cases.
As the number of cases are sure to rise, it will become near impossible to update readers on all positive cases, though for now, we'll continue to keep you updated as to where they are springing up.
