Another snake is on the loose, but is this another Wessie Snake?

According to the Camden Police Dept's Facebook page, a ball python has gotten out of its enclosure and is most likely roaming the area on Sea Street. Monday morning, the department did not report how or when the snake got loose. The snake is approximately 4-5 feet in length. The pic below was from a few years ago.

At least police can confirm the existence of this snake. A few years ago, Mainers dealt with the curious case of Wessie, a snake reportedly seen in Westbrook. By the end of the summer, the mysterious reptile had it's own Twitter account, a brand of beer, and a loyal following of supporters. Police had reportedly spotted Wessie, but later gave up the search.

According to Wikipedia, in captivity, Ball Pythons are "considered good pets, with their relatively small size and placid nature making them easy to handle."

The police dept's FB page said  If anyone catches a view of the snake please call Knox Communications, 207-236-3030.
