We had the opportunity to speak with Donna Strickler of the Sexual Assault Crisis & Support Center's upcoming One in Five 5K. Obviously because of current health circumstances things will be looking a little different this year, though they still need your support now more than ever.

The run will take place on Sunday, April 25th at First Park in Oakland and will kickoff at 9 AM. Due to COVID, they will be observing all social distancing  guidelines to insure a 'COVID friendly' event. There is also the option to do a 'virtual run' and run at your own pace and location.

It's called the One in Five 5K because one in five Mainers will affected by sexual violence in their lifetimes. It was named this many years ago in hopes that this statistic would change, sadly however, it hasn't. Organizers hope this event will not only give people an opportunity to get outside and do something fun, but also to bring awareness to a real issue here in the state of Maine.

Here is the interview we did with Donna Strickler today on the Moose Morning Show!

Stacker used data from the 2020 County Health Rankings to rank every state's average life expectancy from lowest to highest. The 2020 County Health Rankings values were calculated using mortality counts from the 2016-2018 National Center for Health Statistics. The U.S. Census 2019 American Community Survey and America's Health Rankings Senior Report 2019 data were also used to provide demographics on the senior population of each state and the state's rank on senior health care, respectively.

Read on to learn the average life expectancy in each state.
