Country Music Legend Announces Tour Stop in Bangor, Maine For 2025
Over the last couple of months, we've have the chance to announce some really awesome concerts that are headed to the Maine Savings Amphitheater later in 2025. However, out of all the announcements we've done, this may be our favorite one yet.
JUST ANNOUNCED, we're so happy to let you know that freakin' SHANIA TWAIN is going to be coming to Bangor! As she finishes up her Las Vegas residency, Shania will be hitting the road this summer with a stop in Bangor on Tuesday, July 22nd.
Tickets for this show will go on sale to the public this coming Friday, December 20th, at 10am EST.
According to Bigraphy.Com, which is a WICKED cool website btw, Shania Twain is not just the Queen of Country Pop but also one of those artists who feels like a friend in your playlist.
Her music is packed with confidence and fun, like “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” or “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” and she’s got that unmistakable voice that’s both powerful and super-unique.
Her story is pretty inspiring, too. Biography.Com went on to explain that Shania grew up in Timmins, Ontario, in a tough environment, and music was her escape. She worked really hard to make it, and when she did, she redefined country music by blending it with pop, making it accessible to a global audience.
Oh, and a little added fun fact for you all! Her real name is actually Eilleen Regina Edwards. She changed it to Shania, which means "I’m on my way" in Ojibwe, as a nod to her stepdad's heritage. Cool, eh?
