Shots Fired Through a Central Maine House, Police Seeking Help Locating Suspect
Police are seeking help from the public in figuring out who is responsible for firing rounds through a house in Central Maine over the weekend.
WGME 13 is reporting that the incident happened on Sunday a little bit before 8 pm. Police say that they responded to a call of gunshots or fireworks in the area of Sparsam and Huston Streets in Lisbon Falls, Maine.
Upon investigation, police were able to determine that the sounds heard were in fact gunshots and not fireworks. Police found that there was a home that had multiple bullet holes in it in the area the noise was reported.
Because the individual(s) responsible for the shooting had already fled the area, police currently don't have a suspect. This is why they're now asking for the public's help. Lisbon Police are asking people that live in the area to review Ring doorbell or security footage from Sunday evening around 8 pm. More specifically between 7:30 and 8:15.
The police department has assured the public that they are doing everything they can to find the person(s) involved in the shooting. Fortunately, no injuries were reported following the apparent shooting.
Anyone that may have information is being asked to contact the Lisbon Police Department at 207.353.2500 and dial extension 1.
This is a developing story and we will continue to keep it updated as more information becomes available to us.
