Spaghetti Supper To Benefit Manchester Teen Happening August 4th

You may recognize the name, Alexis Michaud, as it has made its way around Central Maine in recent days. Alexis is a 16-year-old resident of Manchester, Maine, a student and star athlete at Maranacook High School.

The Manchester Lions Club and community are hosting a benefit Spaghetti supper for the Michaud family on Wednesday, August 4th. Alexis was recently diagnosed with a rare form of Cancer called Chordoma and will have surgery in the coming days.

The Spaghetti supper will be happening from 4 to 7 pm at the Manchester Lions Club. Dinner is $7 per person and $20 for a family of 4, and each additional child is $4.

I can't think of anything better than a community coming together for those who are in a time of need. It could be something as simple as a meal for a family or a benefit dinner and silent auction to help with unexpected medical bills, like this one for Alexis. Whatever it may be, it sure is nice to be part of such a wonderful community.
