Sunrise Bagel Brings Unique Flavors & Seating to Oakland, Maine
Big news, Oakland! Sunrise Bagel, a very popular Maine bagel shop, has officially opened its newest location! They've set up shop at 50 Main Street.
The grand opening has been a hit!
As per the article, Sunrise Bagel first opened in Waterville and two years later, the success of the original shop led to the expansion into Augusta. Now, with the opening of their 3rd location in Oakland, Sunrise Bagel is becoming a super fan favorite for Mainers.
Sunrise Bagel is famous for its awesomely unique bagel flavors. From Kickin' Maple Honey to Jalapeno Cheddar, their bagels are anything but normal.
The Oakland spot will also give you specialty coffees and smoothies.
According to the Sun Journal, the bakery opened this past Saturday and the General Manager, Geoff Ponitz, say things have been going so well that they sold out three days in a row!
"It was like something out of a Hallmark movie for me, I grew up here, my parents bought this building, and it was a lot of work for Sunrise to get the property renovated and finished just in time. We were full (of people) the whole day." Geoff
The Oakland location, for the first time, is giving you seating now!
“We have regulars at Waterville and Augusta and our relationship with our customers (is) our driving force, They are the air we breathe and their positive feedback on a daily basis is what drives us and the staff to work hard.”
Sunrise Bagel in Oakland is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
