My vacation is over and now it's back to work. Some of the highlights over the past week, or lowlights as much of this time off consisted of work, including shoveling the roof, taking care of the driveway, once or twice and replacing a floodlight on the outside wall of the house. My vacation wasn't all work. I had fun too.

It's vacation week for me. I want to first thank those who do my work while I'm out, Andy, Matt and Mac primarily and whoever else takes on extra, I thank them as well.  What am doing this week while I'm out?

Laundry, we have it, we all have to do it. Often it’s done at home and sometimes it is done at a laundromat or a coin-op laundry room at the apartment building. Here listed are 12 mistakes people make when it comes to cleaning clothes.

Over the weekend we started our spring cleaning. We completed our bedroom and it's now clean and somewhat redone. The walls are still magenta, which I like but Lynn hates and the floor is still the same, which both of use hate, a blue high pile or shag but in due time we'll put in a new floor. We received a bedroom set from my mother-in-law, which make it like a new room ,which we absolutely neede

You never know how much stuff you have until you attempt to do “Spring Cleaning.” Earlier today we took everything out of our bedroom and put it in the living room and study (old living room).

Today you can relax as it is, ‘No Housework Day’. Curious about who does the housework at your place? If you’re single probably obvious it is you but for those who are co-habitating or married. Do you split up the chores? Do you make the kids do them?

Question for married people or couples who live together. Who does what? Are there chore roles? We’ve been married for over 12 years and together for 14. I have never been good at fixing stuff. Lynn is amazing that way. It’s almost like role reversal. Don’t get me wrong, I clean, do the laundry, the dishes, pick up and watch the kids while Lynn’s on a project.
