Today you can relax as it is, ‘No Housework Day’. Curious about who does the housework at your place? If you’re single probably obvious it is you but for those who are co-habitating or married. Do you split up the chores? Do you make the kids do them?

Normally, Lynn cooks and I clean up after and run the dishwasher. Lynn does laundry and does the more detailed stuff. I sift the catbox, Lynn usually cleans it and reloads with litter.

The boys pick up the living room and their rooms. Over all I’d say Lynn and the rest of my family does 70-80% of the work. I do 20%-30%.

With time I’ll do the bathroom, floors, meaning mopping and vacuuming but often the kids will vacuum. Lynn is more about organization, me not so much. For me it is out of sight, out of mind. I'll get to it later. Unless it is food related, I am paranoid about bugs.

As for the outside, I have been mowing the lawn because I wanted ownership of that task but after owning the house now almost two years and the novelty wearing off, maybe my oldest, Dylan can take over. He likes to do the snow-blowing, so I think he’ll like mowing the lawn.

Lynn does the homework with the boys and tends to Vikki and her every moment good and less that cooperative. I honestly don't know how she does it. She is one amazing woman.

That’s us, how about you?
