Mom left us in September 2006, just as Michelle started her sophomore year in high school. Matt had graduated that spring from Erskine Academy. He came into the Maine Veteran's Home to show "Nana" his graduation gown before commencement. That was almost nine years ago.
Ellen Wells is a great lady. Always smiling. Always happy. Always a pleasure to see. The good news is, you can see her Saturday at the Quarry Road Recreation Area with Inland Hospital from 10-1. It's their third Family Fun Day and it promises to be a GREAT time for everyone in attendance! There are great activities, prizes and more!
This federal government employee watched up to 6 hours of porn a day on his computer at work and has managed to keep his job!
Some of us can't get away with it for 6 minutes, but I digress ;-)
Mom left us in September 2006, just as Michelle started her sophomore year in high school. Oh, how proud she'd be of her granddaughter today as she graduates tomorrow as a registered nurse. She would be there bursting with pride and shedding tears of happiness. I know that, in spirit, she is still here and Michelle, who shared a close bond with her, will have "nana" on her mind as she ac
National Teachers Day is today, May 6th, and I took the occasion to read a classic story (at least partly based in truth) that has been told on the Moose Morning Show several times over the years. I hope you enjoy it....

"I bet he would," mom says, encouragingly, then proceeds to let you buy it. Come on moms out there. No! Dad will NOT like it. It's cute because it's from the kid but, really? Do I now have to wear that g
Want to weigh in on your concerns as a business owner? Wednesday, legislative leaders will be all ears as they attend the fifth annual Business Day at the State House, happening from 8am to noon in the Hall of Flags.
Ashley Harriman stopped in to talk with us about something near and dear to her heart, the Miles for Mills fundraiser coming up on Memorial Day. Ashley, a junior at Maine Maritime Academy, is cousin to Travis' wife, Kelsey. The horrible incident which was to change the Mills family's life forever happened just a little over a year ago.
Both Renee and Mac are good examples of being Earth friendly. Renee wrote an article about being a good steward of the Earth which you can read here. Mac recycles all of his and the station's paper, batteries and EVERYTHING that can be recycled. Me? Just milk jugs....
