The Mid Maine Chamber's Taste of Waterville, this year on August 7, will be returning to offering a seated dining option. This will be in addition to fast food and a la carte choices. Jeff Corey, the organizing committee chairman told the Morning Sentinelthat they wanted to "...get back to our original idea, which was fine dining..."

Tickets are now available for The Sit-Down, where you can order multi-course meals on Castonguay Square, on Common Street. Main and Appleton streets will be closed to traffic.

The traditional parts of the event, 'A La Carte' and 'The Bite' will happen all day long. Plus, you can enjoy children’s events including an animal petting zoo, face painting, and other fun activities. Downtown Waterville merchants host events and offer special values throughout the day and there will be live music from three bands and a beer garden on the Concourse.
