Test Your Furnaces + Boilers For Crying Out Loud!

I have lots of friends who are in the HVAC business and they all start to dread the cold season. Primarily because people go 6+ months without running their homes heating systems and they wait until the house gets COLD to fire them up for the first time. Why would you do that? Don't you realize that if there's a problem with it and it doesn't work or you have to shut it off that you're going to be COLD until a tech can get to you? Don't be that guy or gal.. Test your heating systems out BEFORE you need them. Don't get stuck in the cold waiting for Mr. Heater Man. Thanks people. That's all. Just do it.
