Living in New England, there are certain iconic places you must visit at least once in your life.  Some of these places can be tourist "traps", but most of the time, they're historic in nature.

Perhaps Paul Revere's house in the North End of Boston, or the Old North Church would come to mind?

Maybe you would think of Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower in Plymouth, Massachusetts, or what about the Battle at Lexington and Concord, which elevated to the American Revolution?

There are other places like the Swan Boats in the Public Garden, or the Make Way for Ducklings statues, or the House of Seven Gables, Walden Pond, or Motif #1 in Rockport, which could be frontrunners for the most Instagrammable location in all of Massachusetts.

Let's not forget Western Massachusetts with Canyon Ranch in Lenox, or the Mount Greylock State Reservation, or the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame for top places in the Bay State.

Oh, then there's Cape Cod with its picturesque towns and beaches, which are the epitome of New England. They're hashtagged like crazy from tourists each season.

However, there is one spot in Massachusetts that's the most well-known place in the entire state, and perhaps in all of New England, and that location is nestled in Boston Proper between busy city streets, with lights towering over the massive green stadium we all know as Fenway Park.

I know you're not really surprised, but when you think about how many fabulous places we have in this state, Fenway Park is about as popular as it gets, and apparently, the travel website floridapanhandle.com agrees.

Don't let the Green Monster scare you. Known as "friendly" Fenway Park, it's as iconic as it gets.
