According to WGME, two people were seriously injured Wednesday morning after a pickup truck struck two utility poles, an SUV and a Lisbon Falls business.

Lisbon Police Chief Ryan McGee said a Ford F-350 driven by a 69-year-old Lisbon man first hit a utility pole near Aroma Joe’s on Lisbon Street, also known as Route 196. The truck then struck a sign, a second utility pole and an SUV before crashing into Adept Screen Printing & Graphics.

No one inside the business was injured, but the building suffered substantial damage.

Miranda Gardella, whose family owns the business, said she was only feet away when the truck hit the building.

“I was about 6 feet from where the truck hit the building. It was right next to me,” Gardella said. “Hopefully we can figure out if insurance will fix it or if we are going to have to move, change to a new location.” WGME reported.

Police said the pickup truck driver suffered critical injuries. The 31-year-old Lewiston man driving the SUV was seriously injured.

Both men were taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

The crash remains under investigation.
