It's something we've been doing with the city of Augusta, Maine, for literal decades. Formerly known as "Waterfront Wednesday" and now known as the "SummerFun Concert Series," we're excited to announce a full lineup of concerts this summer.

While the last few years these shows have been at Mill Park, that's changing!

This summer the concerts return to their original venue at Augusta's beautiful Waterfront Park. Right off Front Street in downtown Augusta (behind the stores!), the shows will happen right next to the lapping water of the Kennebec River.

I for one am excited that the shows are coming back to Waterfront Park. There's a bit of nostalgia in it for me as the concerts return to their original "home." Of course, we will have all kinds of fun, great bands, and food trucks, too.

Are you wondering what the lineup for the summer is going to be? Worry not, we've got you covered.

From pop music to funk, country and classic rock, this summer is sure to be one of the best yet for local musicians on Augusta's waterfront.

Coming up on June 19 is Borderline Express. These guys are loads of fun and play all kinds of great country music from the '80s through today. The show will be from 6 p.m. to sunset Wednesday.

On June, 26, and for their first time ever, the Dooryarders will be gracing the Damon's Beverage stage.

On July 10, we will have local favorite TICKLE back on the stage. They are so fun!

On July 17, the one and only Rob Burnell and his band will be entertaining us for the evening.

On July 24, Garrett Holt Music will be blasting on the Waterfront for all to enjoy.

On July 31, the fun sounds of Duke Dog Duo will be playing 'til the sun goes down!

On August 7, Matt James will be DJ'ing a block-party-style evening.

And on August 14, the boys from Working Class will be closing out the season of fun as only they can!
