It’s winter, and with the freezing and thawing comes potholes, frost heaves, divots, etc. Maybe it’s just me, but the roads seem to be worse than years gone by. The average car repair bill due to bad roads is $250 a year! What roads do you think are in desperate need of repaving or at the least repair?

Mount Vernon Avenue in Augusta is probably pretty near the top in my mind. Hotel Rd. in Auburn from Lake St. to Minot Ave. is pretty rough as well.

Main St. Lewiston between L/A Harley and CMMC could use a little attention in my book and Allen Pond Rd. between Landy’s Irving and Turner is harsh. Quite a few streets in New Auburn are also fairly bumpy.
