Winslow Public Library Gets a Cool $97,000.00

Thanks to a $1.5 million dollar remainder fund, Kenneth and Shirley Eskelund have donated to more than 24 organizations- one of which is the Winslow Public Library. Pam Fesq Boney, director of the library, said the donation is really going to let them 'dream big'. Their primary goal? Enhance the children's activities at the library.

I think this is so great. I am blessed to have a 9 year old who absolutely loves reading. Not only does he stay entertained all on his own, but he also learns so many incredible things through his literature. We have to accept that the things that engage children and keep their attention now, are completely different than they were 30 years ago.

We can't wait to see all the new things the Winslow Public Library will bring to the kids of their community!
