Matt & Lizzy in The Morning, Adventure into The Community

Matt and I had not one, but two events in one night. We both really enjoy meeting you all and connecting with our friends and neighbors here in Central Maine.

Last night we MC'd at the Augusta Chamber of Commerce gathering which was held at the beautiful Viles Arboretum in Augusta.

The impeccable Betsy from, Lisa's White Flour Catering, tended bar and provided an incredible spread of food last night. The first event was a success and we were able to meet so many of you local business owners.

It's always good for us to get out from our little studio and meet you all. You get so used to just hearing our voices and we get so used to talking into microphones that we are desperate for human connection!

Last night, we were thankful to get much love.

Our second event was the kick off to the SummerFun Concert Series with Borderline Express giving us all the feels with their music! Pictured below is Josh Hunt, lead singer of Borderline Express!

The concert is located at Mill Park in Augusta and is held every Wednesday night this summer! Augusta Parks and Rec along with us, 92 Moose and B98.5 are putting on this free concert series.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks that was offered by The United Volunteers of Maine food truck which will be at each event, as well as a craft beer garden and cornhole area powered by Lilac Catering & Mixology.

We were also able to run into my number one fan! Her name is Mayla. I was able to meet her at another one of our events back in October and ladies and gentlemen, she will be the future of radio. So look out for her!

Community is so important to Matt and I. I can speak for the both of us when I say we want to meet you, help you, encourage you, and share all of the love we have with you and your families. Because, at the end of the day we don't just annoy you in the morning, we're here to annoy forever.
