You Could Be Eligible To Get Money From The Maine DOT

According to the Maine Department of Transportation website, they are trying to distribute approximately $3 million from the Volkswagen environmental mitigation settlement.

To qualify, you must still be operating a diesel VW that is model year 2009 or older.  Inoperable vehicles are ineligible.  You could receive between 25% and 80% of the base price of a new vehicle.

The settlement stems from accusations that VW sold and leased 2.0 and 3.0 liter diesel vehicles that were equipped with defective equipment.
