I've come to learn, especially living here in Central Maine, that you should never be surprised by the things that you see. Our version of what's normal up here is a lot different than in other parts of  the world. Well today I definitely saw something I had never seen before.

I got up a little earlier than normal today because I needed to get out and plow a couple of the properties in the area that the radio station owns since we had that little storm yesterday. Obviously this put me in town a little earlier than normal and the city was still working on some of their overnight cleanup. Well, as part of their snow removal they also have to handle the city's sidewalks, too.

As I was driving up Western Avenue headed for the studio this morning, I saw it. What did I see you might be wondering? I saw one of the Augusta's big articulating enclosed-cab sidewalk snowblowers. Doesn't seem all that weird, right? Well when I saw it it was at the pickup window in the Dunkin' drive-thru!

You guys, I almost couldn't believe what I was seeing. I mean, how absolutely hilarious and "Maine" is that? We're dunkin' die-hards up here and no matter what it is we're driving we'll take it through the line at Dunkies. I wanted so badly to snag a photo of this Billy Badass but by the time I turned my own rig around he had already pulled back out into the... errr... sidewalk.

Whoever that was, if you're reading this, you're the REALEST MVP of the week!

If you've never seen these rigs, here's how they work!
