March 29, 2013 On March 29, 1973 two things happened. First, the last of the combat troops left Vietnam. I'm too young to remember the exit and certainly don't remember the nine years leading up to March 29, 1973 as I hadn't been born. Tough for many families that I do know, but then again what war hasn't been hard on loved ones.
March 29, 2013 Today was all about cars. I was looking at the license plate on my wife’s car and saw that it had expired last month, February. I was surprised that I let it lapse. Okay, I knew but that was my prepared statement for cops if I got pulled over. All it took was a trip to Auburn city hall and paid $173 and I was good to go with a neon orange sticker for ’03 Saab. I have been asked this probably 10 times at different places. "Do you have an SR 22?"

March 28, 2013 I was searching through the “on this date” sites and came across something cool and I remember it as it happened. On this day, March 28, 1986 over 6,000 radio stations all played “We Are the World” at the same time at 10:15 am est.
March 27, 2013 Let me start by saying, I’m writing this to find out if anyone else has ever gone through the same type of episode. It’s a bit like you’re in a haze and completely sober. Tonight it has been a bit of a difficult night to focus. I couldn’t even remember my Facebook password which I use rather often as you probably know. It’s like a spell where I’m scattered in the head with thoughts. My thoughts are familiar to something I may have experienced before or a dream. I guess it would be classified as having a déjà vous?
March 27, 2013 Back on this date, March 27, 1986, Sammy Hagar played his first live show as the front man for Van Halen in Shreveport, LA. Hagar replaced the flashier, Diamond David Lee Roth or a bit better than a decade. Van Halen is one of my favorite rock bands of all time. Now the obvious and classic question is who is better or maybe better put, who do you like better, David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar?
March 26, 2013 Have you ever been to Dysarts? When I lived in Bangor, it was one of my favorite places to eat. I loved it especially after a late night out. Awesome food and open 24 hours a day. Tomorrow night the restaurant will be featured on ‘Food Paradise’ on the Travel Channel.
March 26, 2013 The Boston Red Sox have decided to slash prices on concessions in April in hopes of luring back fans. Kids under 14 will get a free hot dog, Goldfish crackers and beverage before the 3rd inning. Beer prices normally $8.50 will be reduced to $5 opening month as well. There are other concession enticements as well to bring fans back.
