January 3, 2013 With the new year comes attempts at changing our lives for the better. You know the routine, resolutions, goals. You lay them out with good intentions and sometimes succeed and sometimes you don't. In between success and failure is where most of us live. I'm still not smoking and almost not still chewing the nicotine gum.
January 2, 2013 Working different hours than most people kind of messes with your time to eat. I normally try to eat a decent sized lunch or dinner just before I go to work and then eat again when I get home. It’s usually around 9 pm 9:30 pm when I get home.

December 31, 2012 It’s the end of the year and the fiscal cliff deal is in the 11th hour. I figured a survey would be a fun thing to do instead of getting all heavy and newsy tonight. It’s called Favorites And Least favorites of 2012.
December 31, 2012 What is your favorite New Year's Eve memory? Mine I think is the year Lynn and I sat at home with our then 18 month old Dylan. We made ice cream sundaes.
December 30, 2012 As the year closes and a new one starts we do two things generally, we look back to what happened the past year and we look ahead to the next. Maybe we set resolutions or goals and we hope others do better as well. How about 2012? Yes we made it through, apocalypse and all.
December 28, 2012 It dawned on me during my drive home from work that we have been living in our new house now for six months today. We closed on June 29, 2012. There are only 54 low monthly payments left and the house will be mine in 2042. Have we settled in? For the exception of a few boxes of odds and ends we're moved in.
December 28, 2012 There are only a few days left until New Years Eve. What are your plans? I know mine. It is the one night a year I can get away with acting like a 21 year old within reason. In past years we’ve enjoyed a small party with our neighbors. The furthest anyone had to go after is next door. This year it's going to be the same party except it’s at our house, which is two miles from our old place. This time our old neighbors and friends are sleeping over just to be safe and responsible.
December 27, 2012 It looks like we’re about halfway through this storm. According to the forecast, a total of 16 inches will fall before tomorrow morning. That includes what has fallen so far, so there is no need to panic. First off, I want to thank the town, city and DOT plowers. Because of them, I got to work in one piece.
December 27, 2012 I woke up this morning at around 3:30 am. After I tossed and turned for about a half hour, I figured what's the point. I'll just get up. As much as I'll pay for this later today, it's rather nice to just sit here in the quiet and write this post while sipping coffee and watching the snow storm begin.
