It’s ‘Blue Monday’ – How Are You Feeling?

Today (Third Monday in January) is "Blue Monday." Yes a song by New Order but also statistically the most depressing day of the year.

Why is it so depressing? For one it is dead smack in the middle of winter, less light and it is cold. Christmas, remember the tidings of comfort and joy? You can add the hangover that is the credit card statement has come in after the fun that was the holidays. Plus all of the other struggles that go on at this time of year, like filling the oil tank (even though the price is lower), and of course it is Monday.

How are you feeling today? I was feeling quite well until I noticed some water in my basement. Not enough to be really concerned about right now but enough to hope and pray I've seen all that has seeped in from the outside but aside from that, I'm alright.
