UPDATE: Gardiner Area High School Freshman Missing Since Saturday Found Safe
UPDATE: Michael J. Booth, a 14-year-old freshman at Gardiner Area High School was last seen by his parents late Saturday (Oct. 18) night. He has now been found safe. According to the Gardiner Police Department, h He was found Tuesday (Oct. 21) morning at a home in Gardiner. Police found him while following up on a tip.

Leroy Smith III of Gardiner made his first court appearance (May 8) today. He's accused of killing his father, 56-year-old Leroy Smith II at their Gardiner home on Cannard Street. His father’s remains were found Monday (May 5) in numerous trash bags left in a wooded area off Lincoln Street in Richmond, about eight miles from their apartment.
