Acadia National Park Increasing Park Fees
Like everything else these days, the price of admission into Maine's own National Park, Acadia National Park, will increase in 2023.
According to WMTW, the prices for both annual and weekly passes are going up.
The news station's article explains that the weekly price of a personal vehicle (up to 15 passengers) will jump to $35 and motorcycles will now cost $30. If you are choosing to visit the majestic Maine park without a vehicle (or with a bike) it will cost you $20.
Additionally, the annual passes will increase to $70. That's a jump of $15.
The change will not affect those who have Federal Recreational Lands Passes.
Also, there are a number of FREE days throughout the spring, summer, and fall. These are April 22nd (the first day of National Park Week), August 4th (Great American Outdoors Day), September 23rd (National Public Lands Day), and Veterans Day (November 11th).
The new fee pricing will go into affect on April 1st, 2023.
