According to TikTok, there are 6 'Canine Cabins' and they come with play yards and so many special amenities which helps the dogs stay comfortable and filled with endless love. Grammy Rose is located on Route 109 in Acton, Maine and shares land with a mini golf course and ice cream shop.

In my opinion, this is less like a rescue and more like a retreat because it's climate-controlled with a dormitory where each dog has its own private bedroom! The cabins give the pups furnished living rooms.

Doing this, helps them to prep the dogs for home living when they do indeed get adopted. They have organized the cabins to resemble typical homes.

Visitors, staff, and volunteers loves to interact, play, and train the dogs every day. This levels up their adaptability and comfort.

"The concept for this retreat came from Rose Wentworth who lived in a farmhouse on the same property as the cabins about a 100 years ago. It was founded by the granddaughter of Rose and her husband Ralph as a way to carry on the couple's legacy of loving dogs with everything they had."
