Are You Buff Enough? Find Out How to Become Lake Smart-er, July 8

The North Pond Association is hosting a workshop (July 8) this Saturday called, 'Are You Buff Enough? How to Become LakeSmart-er!' It's from 9am – 12pm at the Fairview Grange, Village Road, in Smithfield.

It's the first of many workshops and educational events in their newly acquired 10 year Watershed-Based Protection Plan for North and Little Ponds.

Jodie Mosher-Towle from the North Pond Association, and Maggie Sullivan, the Executive Director of the Maine Lake Society, joind us on the Moose Morning Show with all the details about the event. Here more in the interview.

The workshop is designed to help property owners watershed wide, on the water or not, to look at their property from a ‘health of the lake’ point of view.

There will also be an optional pontoon boat ride at 11am.
