Augusta’s Red Barn Restaurant To Be Featured On ‘NBC Nightly News’ Tonight (Aug. 2)

The popular Augusta restaurant The Red Barn is going to be featured on "The NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt" tonight (Aug. 2, 2016).

The network news came to Maine last month to cover a fundraiser for Honor Flight Maine, which sends American Veterans on free trips to Washington, D.C. so they can view the national monuments.

Red Barn owner Laura Benedict confirmed that the segment was running on a post on the restaurant's Facebook page.

Here is the post about the event, which raised over $13,000.
