There is something that I love possibly more than ice cream dare I say it? It’s muffins.

Muffins are like the underrated step brother of donuts but today, they are the main course of this article. And we are diving straight into the moist goodness of the muffin world.

There is something about a muffin that makes you feel all cozy and warm, right? But it has to be done right.

You can learn a lot by a person based on how they eat their muffin. Whether you like them nutty, fruity, or so loaded with chocolate, you can’t really call it breakfast anymore.

I’ve always had a really soft spot for corn muffins. Because when I was younger, my mom would pop down to Shop ‘n Save in Lewiston and pick up a fresh batch from the bakery.

She’d warm them up, slap some butter on top, and just like that I’d be melted away to heaven. To this day, the smell of a corn muffin takes me right back to those moments with her.

Our local bakeries really have certainly leveled up their competition because I cannot seem to find an all time favorite spot. A favorite of ours in the Twin Cities of Lewiston/Auburn is Grants Bakery, they are friendly, fast, and should increase prices because their muffins and desserts are practically luxury.
