The Kennebec Journal is reporting that a truck parked outside the Blaine House in Augusta caught fire on Thursday afternoon after witnesses reported hearing some kind of explosion-like sound.

Augusta Fire Department, which was quick to respond, had the flames under control shortly after the fire was reported. Currently, there are no reports of deaths or injuries associated with the Thursday afternoon fire.

Officials are currently still investigating what led to the explosion and subsequent fire.
