Brittany Rose Dressed Up As Who?!
I've become a fan of themed bar crawls. A couple months ago I dressed up as Hermione and attended a Harry Potter themed crawl. I never got a great picture of my costume but here's my best friend, Greg as Dobby. The truest of fans will understand why this photo is hilarious.
When I saw a 90's themed crawl was coming to Portland, I had to go! But I was faced with a big decision, what do I wear? I thought of costumes that would be super cute; one of the ladies from Friends, Fiona Apple, Vivian Ward from Pretty Woman, etc. Then I walked into Walmart and was inspired by an incredible mask I spotted in the toy section. I was going into this full Cady Heron from Mean Girls, but I didn't care.
I was born in 1990, so the 90's were filled with Nickelodeon shows. One of my favorite being, Rocko's Modern Life. A great cartoon with carefully hidden, and not so hidden, adult jokes. See: Really Really Big Man's Nipples. (No, really.)
So, I proudly walked down the streets of The Old Port dressed as a wallaby. What does this say about me? I'm not sure, but I had a great time.
