Cooper Learned An Important Lesson This Morning
Today, I started my morning the same way I have thousands of times before: I walked into my office, took my laptop out of its bag, plugged it in, and went to the kitchen to get a coffee.
When I came back to my office, hot cup of Cooper fuel in my hand, I opened Chrome to start prepping my show. No luck. No connection. I closed Chrome and re-opened it. That didn't work, either.
At this point, I decided to reboot the computer. Ten minutes later, it was back. I logged in and tried to open Chrome and Outlook. STILL, no luck.
As a guy who hates wasting time, this was INFURIATING!
I was about to call, and annoy, our amazing IT guy Drew, when I decided to check one last thing. I looked at the back of my laptop and saw this:
Yep, you guess it! I couldn't connect to the internet because I had forgotten to PLUG IT IN! There goes fifteen minutes of my life I can't have back because I wasn't smart enough to make sure the network cable was plugged in.
I hope your day got off to a better start than mine.
