It's an eerie sight, nearly three miles below the surface of the ocean. The wreckage of the El Faro cargo ship, which sank during Hurricane Joaquin, rests on the floor of the Atlantic Ocean. It was seen by the public for the first time since the disaster on 60 Minutes Sunday.

In all, 33 souls were lost, four of them Mainers: Captain Michael Davidson, Michael Holland, Danielle Randolph and Dylan Meklin. All four graduated from Maine Maritime Academy. Also an MMA graduate was Mitchell Kuflik, 26, of Brooklyn, New York, an experienced mariner.

The 790 foot ship was lost at sea on October 1st, 2015. There were no survivors.
