Actress Emma Myles will be attending the Emerge Film Festival in Lewiston next month. Myles is one of the recurring stars in the Netflix show 'Orange Is the New Black.' She is one of the stars of the film, 'Child of Grace.'

The movie was filmed in Millinocket in 2013 and is about a 9-year old that spent most of her life traveling across America in an RV with her father. One day she sees a portrait of herself on a missing child poster and realizes that the man she believes to be her loving father may actually be her kidnapper. The town's sheriff tries to figure out the truth behind his granddaughter's disappearance when new evidence arises. Myles plays the mother

The film is based on the Chris Fabry novel 'June Bug.'

The world premiere of "Child of Grace" will be at 7 pm on Friday, April 10, at the Franco Center in Lewiston. Director Ian McCrudden and actor and producer Thomas Hildreth will also attend the premiere and will host a Q & A after the showing.

The Festival will include screenings of more than 40 short, documentary, feature and student-produced films from across Maine, the U.S. and the world.
