Boston, Massachusetts

New England is the birthplace of Dunkin Donuts, specifically, Quincy, Massachusetts.  Since Dunks came along there are so many other places you can go and try other shops that make really fabulous donuts. Actually, you can take a tour.

Like a pub crawl, only way better in my opinion.

According to undergrounddonuttour.com,  your first stop will be in the Financial District at Kane's Donuts.  Kane Donuts are famous.  You'll get to taste so many of their amazing flavors, but do not miss the Bismark, their specialty.  You'll thank me.

Then you'll head to Boston's Public Market, find more donuts and try some delicious apple cider.

You'll then head to Boston's North End, a/k/a "Little Italy."  Boston's North end is a theme park for amazing tastes, including pastries and donuts.  The final stop will take you to one of Boston's oldest bakeries, Bova's Bakery that has been operated by the same family for three generations.

The tour is 2 hours long and you'll be walking about 2 miles.  It's limited to 20 people, so you better sign up if you want to go.

All of the donut samples are included and you can cancel your reservation if it's 24 hours or more.  Tickets are $65 dollars each for adults and $55 for kids.  Just click here to reserve your spot.

There are some things that you choose to do and then some things that you have to do.  In my opinion, this is the latter.  A donut is put on this Earth, much like mashed potatoes, for us to enjoy.
