Today's KOD goes to to Hawaii's Emergency Alert System... Saturday, residents thought their lives would be over in minutes. State emergency officials accidentally text-alerted the public that said: "Ballistic missile threat inbound to Hawaii. Seek immediate shelter. This is not a drill." According to USA Today, people "flooded roadways, crowded into concrete structures, or ran to police stations... Others knelt in church and began to pray... and waited for whatever was coming." Hawaii's emergency management administrator, said an unnamed state worker clicked the wrong screen button during a shift change and "this guy feels bad, right?" More in the video!
