Are you in a place where you need or want to think about a new career or going back to school?  The Maine Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC) will be hosting free individualized sessions. One of the big things is financial aid for adults 19 & over.  The program helps qualified adults make the transition towards a new career and relevant educational credentials and they will help with career planning, stackable credentials, completion of FAFSA, rehabilitation of defaulted loans, and finding the appropriate funding for your education.

As a person who went back to college ten years ago as an adult learner, the whole process can feel overwhelming, especially if you are also dealing with the normal trappings of being an adult, so it is nice to have someone give you some advice and direction.

The individualized session lasts approximately an hour. Pre-registration is encouraged. All the services provided by MEOC are free of cost. If these times don’t fit your schedule, give them a call and see what they can work out for you. Do it! To register or for more information just call them at 1-800-281-3703 or visit online at meoc.maine.edu.
