The Oakland Police Department is urgently seeking help to return this precious necklace to its owner. It’s distinctive and deeply sentimental.

By the look of the necklace, it seems to contain ashes of a loved one, so this is one item that no one ever wants to be parted from. The heart-shaped silver necklace is engraved with the loving words "Always in My Heart" on the outside.

The keepsake was found at the Oakland Boat Landing on Messalonskee Lake in Maine earlier this week. If you were in or around this area, take a peek at the picture!

Check out the post below.

Life is tough enough, and many of us hold on to symbols to help us continue the legacy of our loved ones. So I am sure that the individual that lost this will be overjoyed to be reunited with the precious piece of remembrance.

After the post was shared, I took a look through the comments, and as of right now, the owner has not yet come forward. I hope by creating this article, more eyes will take notice, and hopefully the owner will be found!

So can you help? If you are the person who lost this or knows the owner, contact the Oakland Police Department right away!
