Three 18-Year-Olds Arrested After Maine Home Shot Up
Three Maine teenagers are facing charges after police say they opened fire on a home in Wiscasset while a father and his son were inside.
Wiscasset Police say officers were called to a house on Old Sheepscot Road just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of shots fired. Investigators say three rounds were fired at the home, and one of them struck the front door — shattering the glass on the storm door, punching through the metal door, and entering the living room area. Police say the bullet ended up less than 10 feet from where the father and his juvenile son were sitting.
according to the news station, following an investigation, police arrested 18-year-old Jacob McInnis Jr. of Whitefield, 18-year-old Camden Larrabee of Sabattus, and 18-year-old Caleb Busby on Wednesday in connection with the shooting.
WGME reported that all three were charged with aggravated criminal mischief and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon. They are each being held at the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset on $10,000 cash bail.
WGME also says McInnis is accused in a separate shooting in Alna earlier this month. Authorities allege he fired multiple rounds into a newly built home on Head Tide Hill Road on Jan. 6. No one was inside at the time, but police say the homeowners discovered six bullet holes when they arrived with some of their belongings. Investigators say some of the bullets went through windows and into the home.
