Mainers To Appear On ABC’s The Gong Show

According to the KJ, Leland Faulkner of Auburn and Michael Menes of Buckfield will be featured on Thursday's episode of The Gong Show.

Performing as SNAFU!, mime Leland Faulkner and juggler Michael Menes dressed in black, wore sunglasses, and had stretched-out arms for their performance.  They said the most difficult part of being on the show was condensing their four minute long act to 90 seconds.

It looks as though they'll face some stiff competition including a woman who balances candles and a guitar-playing gymnast.  The week's winner will pick up $2,018.

The Gong Show is on ABC Thursday nights at 8:00
